Mabry Mill (Historic Mill & Restaurant)

Historic Mabry Mill is one of the most iconic and most photographed structures on the Blue Ridge Parkway. In 1905, Ed & Lizzie Mabry started the process of building the homesite and the grist mill where they later added a sawmill. Often there are demonstrations available to recreate the lifestyle at Mabry Mill - blacksmithing, carding, spinning, basket making, cooking sugar cane, and other traditions. A restaurant with seasonal hours is also on site with a gift shop where food, gift, and craft items can be purchased.
